Become a Future Neuropreneur

Explore your purpose.
Build your capability.
Create your pathway.

Neuropreneurs apply NEXIE through employment, professional practice, services or enterprise. A Future Neuropreneur is exploring how their interests, lived experience, professional knowledge and developing capability could become meaningful work.

A Future Neuropreneur is exploring and developing their pathway.

A Neuropreneur has progressed through the capability, NEXIE learning and use-right requirements applicable to their pathway and applies NEXIE within employment, professional practice, an authorised service or independent enterprise.

Independent business ownership is one possible application—not the definition of a Neuropreneur. NEXIE X and the Business Blueprint can also help someone identify a learning, employment, professional or community direction.

You do not need to arrive with a finished business idea. The NEXIE pathway helps you understand who you are, what matters to you, what you can build from and where your capabilities could create value.

Purpose. Pathway. Possibility.Every capacity deserves opportunity. Every purpose deserves a pathway.Learn. Earn. Build. Create impact.

1 — Explore before you commit

Begin with
NEXIE X

NEXIE X is the accessible starting point into the NEXIE ecosystem. It helps you explore your interests, strengths, capacity, preferred ways of working and the opportunities that may suit you.

You may explore early learning, school-based support, parent and family education, professional resources, digital products, community services, intervention-informed practice, enterprise or other purpose-led opportunities.

NEXIE X is not an application, purchase commitment or requirement to start a business. It is a place to explore what may be possible before deciding what comes next.

2 — Turn possibility into a practical pathway

Build your NEXIE
Business Blueprint.

The Business Blueprint is the dedicated nine-stage enterprise-planning pathway. It connects purpose, capacity and opportunity with an ethical model, practical first offer, launch plan and intended impact.

This Neuropreneur page explains where enterprise capability fits; the Business Blueprint page contains the stages, deliverables and access options.

3 — Connect enterprise, field and NEXIE capability

Build the capability
behind your pathway.

A Future Neuropreneur pathway may combine nationally recognised training, proprietary NEXIE learning and practical enterprise development.

The appropriate combination will depend on what the person already knows, the qualifications they hold, the field in which they intend to work and the boundaries of the services they want to provide.

Nationally recognised qualifications are delivered and assessed by the relevant approved partner RTO. NEXIE Institute provides the NEXIE Method, Business Blueprint, specialisation learning, professional resources and enterprise-application pathways.

Apply The
NEXIE Method.

It brings together neurodevelopment, relationships, environments, experiences, behaviour as communication and individual developmental capacity through the PEDICure pathway:

PreventionEducationDetectionInterventionCorrection

NEXIE learning supports ethical reflection, education, professional practice, resources and enterprise development without replacing diagnosis, therapy, regulated practice or individual clinical advice.

8 — A practical way to begin

Develop or select a
Productised Service.

As Productised Service pathways open, eligible Future Neuropreneurs and Neuropreneurs may be able to access publications, professional toolkits and Productised Service Packs aligned with their capability, field, audience and intended service.

Each professional or commercial resource will identify:

  • Intended users and audience
  • Prerequisite learning or capability
  • Permitted personal, professional or commercial use
  • Professional and referral boundaries
  • Branding and intellectual-property conditions
  • Whether additional training, certification or licensing applies

Access to a resource does not extend a person’s professional scope or qualify them to provide regulated or specialist services.

Possible future resources and services

  • Parent and family education
  • Early-learning programs
  • Student-readiness and transition resources
  • Educator learning
  • Workshops and facilitated learning experiences
  • Digital publications and practical tools
  • Community-based education services

An independent business

Productised Service Packs do not make NEXIE the operator of the purchaser’s business. Neuropreneurs:

  • Trade under their own independent business names
  • Establish their own prices and client relationships
  • Manage their own payments, insurance, taxation and legal responsibilities
  • Work within their own qualifications, experience and professional scope
  • Use NEXIE materials according to the rights attached to the relevant resource

Flexible entry

Begin at the level that
fits your capability.

A new entrant may combine Entrepreneurship and New Business with Early Childhood Education and Care or School Based Education Support.

An experienced educator, practitioner or support worker would not necessarily need to repeat a qualification they already hold. Subject to existing capability and scope, they may instead access The NEXIE Method, the Business Blueprint, relevant specialisation modules, professional publications and an appropriate Productised Service Pack.

Flexible NEXIE enterprise, Early Years and School Based Education Support pathways
New entrants and experienced professionals can begin at different points.
