ECHOS Early Connections Facilitator Pathway

Build family capability through connection, supported play and parent learning.

ECHOS is being developed as a flexible, parent-present early-connections and supported-playgroup service for families with children from birth to school entry.

This page allows individuals and organisations to register interest in future ECHOS capability, facilitator, employment-linked, supervised-experience, partnership or Licensed Delivery pathways.

The pathway available will depend on existing capability, intended role, location, responsible provider, safeguarding arrangements and applicable ECHOS use rights.

How to Begin

From interest to an appropriate pathway.

Each step confirms fit before greater responsibility or access is introduced.

01

Facilitator Learning and Preparation

Complete relevant ECHOS learning and explore whether a future role fits. Learning does not guarantee employment or independent delivery rights.

02

Supervised Experience

Participate in an approved placement, pilot or assistant-facilitator pathway under responsible supervision and governance. Eligibility, insurance, screening and institutional approval must be confirmed.

03

Employment or Contract Facilitation

Work for or contract with a participating provider where a lawful role becomes available. The responsible organisation determines recruitment, remuneration, supervision and continued engagement.

04

Licensed Independent Delivery

An eligible person may develop an independent ECHOS service after meeting capability, business, safeguarding, governance and Licensed Delivery requirements. NEXIE does not become the employer, franchisor or business operator.

Important Boundaries

Interest is a beginning—not an automatic right.

  • Registering interest is not a job application, enrolment or offer of participation.
  • Registration does not guarantee acceptance, training, placement, employment, contracting, funding, clients, income or commercial rights.
  • No ECHOS site or role is confirmed until responsible organisations approve it.
  • Completing learning does not automatically authorise independent or paid delivery.
  • Protected materials are supplied only through an approved pathway with defined use rights.
  • Employment is governed by the responsible employer.
  • Placements require separate supervision, insurance, safeguarding and host approval.
  • Independent providers remain responsible for business operations, insurance, privacy, participant safety, lawful marketing, referrals and compliance.
  • ECHOS is not represented as an approved or funded Thriving Kids service.
  • ECHOS is not an NDIS early childhood partner, NDIS access pathway or guarantee of funded support.
  • Any future government-funded, commissioned, Thriving Kids-related or NDIS-related delivery requires a separate lawful agreement.
